The Southwest Arkansas Education Cooperative has provided area school districts with free access to the extra services from ParentGuidance.org for our parents and caregivers. This website provides parents with answers to their mental health questions. The extra services include: individual Parent Coaching sessions, Webinars on different topics, and Ask a Therapist Live workshops. A monthly calendar with schedules will be uploaded to our website and Facebook page. Register website:

Reminder for McKinney-Vento Parents and Students: Free laundromat service will be available tonight (May 27th), from 6:00 P.M. to 9:00 P.M. at the Magic Wash Laundromat in Stamps. You must bring the Voucher-card that was mailed to your house to the laundromat to receive these services.

If your child or student is currently in our GT program, this Google form link does not apply to a child or student currently in our GT program. Tuesday, April 29, 2025 – Lafayette Upper Elementary School
Wednesday, April 30, 2025 – Lafayette County High School
We are committed to serving all students interested in participating; however, the nurse practitioner is only able to see 10 students per day. Depending on the number of participants, additional days may be scheduled.
For the Jr High and Senior High Campus- If you would like your child to be screened on Wednesday, April 30, at the High School, there are currently two spots still available. To reserve a spot and request the necessary paperwork, please contact the school nurse at 870-533-4464 no later than Monday at Noon...
Eligibility Requirements:
Students must be between 5 and 18 years of age
Students must have turned 5 on or before August 19, 2024
A parent or guardian must accompany the student
While parent/guardian attendance is strongly encouraged, we understand that it may not always be possible. For students 12 years and older, special arrangements can be made in advance. Please contact the High School Nurse for more details if needed.

The following Boy's and Girl's State Delegates will be going to visit with the Arkansas Supreme Court at SAU on April 24, 2025, to hear an oral argument and engage with students through their community outreach program, Appeals on Wheels. These high school students will get to participate in this great opportunity to meet and interact with the Supreme Court Justices.
