Lafayette County High School will host their annual "Bingo for Books" family engagement night on Thursday, April 16, 2026. The event will take place inside the high school cafeteria from 5:00 P.M. until 6:30 P.M. Light refreshments will be served. Door prizes will also be awarded during the event.

Just a reminder! Inclement weather make-up days will be April 13th, April 20th, & April 27th. These 3 Mondays will now be regular student-school days. Students will follow the same bell schedule, 7:45 am -4:15 pm. Monday is the first of these make-up days!

The Southwest Arkansas Education Cooperative has provided area school districts with free access to the extra services from ParentGuidance.org for our parents and caregivers. This website provides parents with answers to their mental health questions. The extra services include: individual Parent Coaching sessions, Webinars on different topics, and Ask a Therapist Live workshops. Reminder!! Parent-Teacher Conferences will be held today (March 16th), from 3:30 P.M. until 6:30 P.M.
The application period is now open for the Secondary Career Center at UAHT. LCHS students entering 11th or 12th grade for the 2026-2027 school year may apply now by making an appointment with our high school counselor or visit https://www.uaht.edu/academics/career-center.php . The application period will remain open until all seats are filled. Some programs will fill quickly. Students will need a qualifying Accuplacer exam score. The Career Center offers these students the opportunity to earn college credit at no cost while still in high school. Programs of study include: Construction Technology, Electromechanical Technology, HVAC, Information Technology, Medical Professions (CNA, EMT, & General Health), & Welding.
