9th through 12th graders: If you perform any Community Service during the summer, don't forget to document your service on the school form. Act 803 of 2025 now allows a parent to "sign off" that the student completed a particular community service task. A student must complete and turn in a community service form to the high school office for that task to count toward his or her required 75 hours. As we begin the summer break, the next 3 months will lead to some community service opportunities. Arkansas Code 6-16-1901: Beginning with the graduating Class of 2027, a public high school student shall complete a minimum of 75 community service hours in order to graduate. The hours count only during a student's 9th through 12th grade years. Under the rules, a current 8th grade student may start working on their hours on May 16, 2026 (The summer before they enter the 9th grade). All of the Kindergarten through 10th Grade student ATLAS test scores should be available through the ATLAS parent portal. The K-2 Literacy scores will take around 5 more days before they will be posted. Here is the website: https://ar-familyportal.cambiumast.com/

Early dismissal tomorrow, Friday, May 15th!! Buses and car riders will dismiss at 12:30pm. We hope everyone has a great summer break!

Shout-Out to our 6th graders that attended the recent field trip to the Witt Stephens Nature Center in Little Rock. This trip was part of the LEARNS' early career experiences that exposes students to various types of careers to stimulate their interest in future work. Chaperones for this trip were Mr. Minter, Mr. Sellers, Ms. Ford, Ms. Smith, & Ms. Sasser. A Rural Services-Arkansas Game & Fish grant paid for this trip.
