Wednesday, April 30, 2025 – Lafayette County High School
We are committed to serving all students interested in participating; however, the nurse practitioner is only able to see 10 students per day. Depending on the number of participants, additional days may be scheduled.
For the Jr High and Senior High Campus- If you would like your child to be screened on Wednesday, April 30, at the High School, there are currently two spots still available. To reserve a spot and request the necessary paperwork, please contact the school nurse at 870-533-4464 no later than Monday at Noon...
Eligibility Requirements:
Students must be between 5 and 18 years of age
Students must have turned 5 on or before August 19, 2024
A parent or guardian must accompany the student
While parent/guardian attendance is strongly encouraged, we understand that it may not always be possible. For students 12 years and older, special arrangements can be made in advance. Please contact the High School Nurse for more details if needed.

Secondary Career Center Registration
The University of Arkansas Hope-Texarkana Secondary Career & Technical Education Center offers FREE college credit to participating high schools. If a student is entering 11th or 12th grade next school year at Lafayette County High School, they can sign up now for UAHT Secondary Career Center classes. To apply, make an appointment with your high school counselor. The application will remain open until all seats are filled, so we recommend applying early.

The UAHT Secondary Career & Technical Education Center is a secondary career center located on the UA Hope campus. The Center offers area high school juniors and seniors the unique opportunity to earn college credit while still in high school at no cost. The Center’s curriculum serves as an extension of the high school curriculum offerings by providing students with hands-on experiences in a variety of career fields taught by UAHT Faculty.
