Parent Teacher Conferences will be Monday, October 20th - 3:30 to 6:30pm for both campuses.

Mark your calendars for the Fall Family Night/"Fall Festival" at the elementary school on Tuesday, October 28th, from 5:30 P.M. through 7:00 P.M. The event will take place inside the elementary school gym. Refreshments will be served.

Lafayette County High School NJHS and NHS members served during the 2025 Lafayette County Chamber Banquet this past Tuesday evening.

The Southwest Arkansas Education Cooperative has provided area school districts with free access to the extra services from ParentGuidance.org for our parents and caregivers. This website provides parents with answers to their mental health questions. The extra services include: individual Parent Coaching sessions, Webinars on different topics, and Ask a Therapist Live workshops. A monthly calendar with schedules will be uploaded to our website and Facebook page. Register website: https://parentguidance.org/mhsindex

Elementary drop-off will be moved to the cafeteria crosswalk for all students. Students will not be allowed to be dropped off at the gym in the morning. Please remember that drop-off begins at 7:15 AM.

The Lafayette County School District will have its Annual Title 1 meeting inside the School Board building on Tuesday, September 23rd, at 5:30 P.M. Any parent or community member is welcome to attend.

Reminder: Lafayette County Elementary School will sponsor a Grandparent's Day Breakfast on Friday, September 5th, inside the elementary cafeteria between 7:15 A.M. and 7:45 A.M. It is free for the Grandparent to sit and visit; however, there will be a cost of $1.00 to partake in the sausage biscuit breakfast.
