Beginning November 1st, Lafayette County Elementary School will start offering after school Math tutoring on Wednesdays and Thursdays from 3:30 P.M. to 4:30 P.M. Tutoring is free for LCES students. Transportation must be provided by the parent.

Reminder for McKinney-Vento Parents and Students: Free laundromat service will be available tonight (October 24th), from 6:00 P.M. to 9:00 P.M. at the Magic Wash Laundromat in Stamps. You must bring the Voucher-card that was mailed to your house to the laundromat to receive these services.
Mrs. House, LCES Parent Facilitator, has been preparing for the Elementary Fall Festival on November 7th, from 4:30 P.M.- 6:00 P.M. Thanks to area businesses for their donations: Cadence Bank (Door Prizes), C & C Packing (Door Prizes), Bodcaw Bank (Door Prizes), Burges (Door Prizes), S & S Home Center(Student Prizes), and Farmers Bank & Trust (Money to purchase refreshments). It's Red Ribbon Week! See each campuses' dress up days to participate! Parent Teacher Conferences will be this Thursday, the 26th from 3:30 to 7:30pm at each campus. Early dismissal will begin at 2:15pm. Have a great week!

The first nine weeks/quarter ends this Friday (October 13th). Report Cards will be issued to students on October 20th. Parent-Teacher Conferences will be held on October 26th, from 3:30 P.M. until 7:30 P.M.
Our annual Title I meeting will be held next Tuesday (October 17th), from 4:30 P.M. until 5:00 P.M. The location will be at the school board building in Lewisville. The meeting will outline the purpose of Title I and explain how our District utilizes Title I funds. The public is invited to attend.
