Reminder for McKinney-Vento Parents and Students: Free laundromat service will be available tonight (April 23rd), from 6:00 P.M. to 9:00 P.M. at the Magic Wash Laundromat in Stamps. You must bring the Voucher-card that was mailed to your house to the laundromat to receive these services.
Thursday's softball game has been moved to Wednesday, April 24th at 3:30pm! This will be Senior Night as well! Senior players will be celebrated after the game.

Kindergarten orientation will be today, at the LCE Cafeteria from 3:45-4:45pm. Packets will be available at this time. Your child must be 5, on, or before August 1st to enroll in Kindergarten. Contact Mrs. Roxanne Cheatham at 870-921-4270 if you have any questions.

Lafayette County Elementary School's upcoming state-testing schedule for Grades 3-6 is attached. Currently, 85% of an elementary school's letter grade comes from these tests (Score on test/Growth from previous years). Parents: Let's have perfect attendance on testing days and have your children get a good nights rest on the day before testing.

Currently, 70% of our school's letter grade comes from these tests (Score on test/Growth from previous years). Our two 1st Grade teachers (Mrs. House & Mrs. Jackson) will be using 20 different Animal Fur Replicas in their upcoming Habitat unit. The replicas were purchased through the Arkansas Game and Fish (Division of Rural Services) grant program.
