Lafayette County High School will host a Veterans Day program for area Veterans and community members 2 weeks from today (November 11th, at 10:00 A.M.) inside Cougar Arena. Mark your calendars for the Fall Family Night/"Fall Festival" at the high school on Thursday, October 30th, from 5:30 P.M. through 7:00 P.M. The event will take place inside the high school cafeteria. Information will be available regarding Community Service requirements, graduation requirements, and state testing. Refreshments will be served.

"I am honored to announce that I have been awarded the Beef in the Classroom Grant from Farm Bureau. This grant will allow my Life Fitness and Nutrition and Food Safety and Nutrition students to incorporate beef into a variety of recipes while gaining hands-on experience with meal planning, budgeting, and grocery shopping.
We are deeply appreciative of Farm Bureau’s ongoing commitment to education. For the past three years, they have generously supported our Family and Consumer Sciences classroom, helping us provide meaningful, real-world learning opportunities for students." -- Mrs. Teresa Hamilton
